Following the extensive refurbishment works carried out over the Covid shutdown – we now have a new and improved community hall for years to come.
The main work comprised of installing new windows, a new electric heating system, and an easy access exit door as well as the re-fit of the outdoor areas to allow access. The new paving and gravel area to the front will enable people to come and sit and enjoy the hall.
In addition to the main work, we have also had the main hall, stage, anteroom, and toilets redecorated. And we have replaced the blinds, the curtain and rail for the stage.
Kitchen & Catering Facilities
In the Stainless steel kitchen you will find:
A large fridge, filter coffee machine, double sink hot and cold water, fast-acting catering type dishwasher, a handwashing sink, preparation tables, wire shelves for incoming food, an electric cooker, microwave, kettle a free-standing water boiler and pans
Together with cups saucers plates and dishes, At present we do not have very many knives forks and spoons but we do have some. And it’s on the to-do list.
The maximum number of people the hall can hold is 100. this includes Stewards and helpers. There are 10 tables each able to seat 8 people. and 100+ matching chairs.
Ante Room
The anteroom has a large multi-CD player and radio, a leather settee, and is ideal as a meeting/committee room.
WiFi & Phone
The hall has WiFi installed and a landline telephone.
